SPAGHETTI & MEATBALLS (568 cals)

INGREDIENTS

(SERVES 4)

  • 400g san remo spaghetti - raw weight

  • 1.7L bottle mutti passata tomato puree

  • 5g olive oil

  • 1 red onion and 1 clove garlic

  • 400g extra lean beef mince

  • 50g grated carrot

  • 50g grated zucchini

  • 1-2tsp salt

  • 30g parmesan cheese

DIRECTIONS

  1. Mix carrot, zucchini, garlic and onion powder, salt in with mince and make small round meatballs.

  2. Fry off garlic on low heat until soft then add garlic and fry off for another 5 minutes.

  3. Add sauce to the pan and put meatballs in with the sauce and cook on low heat (25-30mins) - you can add water if sauce gets too thick.

  4. Cook pasta in salty water and then pour sauce and meatballs over pasta.

  5. If you are just wanting to make 1 serve, divide each ingredient in grams by 4.
