PERSONALISED PROGRAM FAQs

What does a personalised program include?

Each personalised program that is available differs. Please click here to view our programs.

How will I receive my personalised coaching programs?

You will be granted access to our client exclusive, and easy to navigate, DVP FITNESS app. We will provide you with a video on how best to use the app, which will include all your program information, meal plans and fitness programs.

Am I required to go on a diet whilst completing a personalised program?

Absolutely not! We don’t believe in short term diets, however based on your goals you may start in a calorie deficit where we will teach you how to get results & increase on your nutritional intake from week to week. We will work with your needs and wants to tailor a plan that you can sustain long-term. 

I have never had a fitness coach before, and I am not experienced.
Will I be ok?

Even better! What a fantastic way to start your fitness journey! As stated, we will tailor your personalised program to your fitness level, and we will progressively help you improve and feel more confident with your journey. 

I don't have much time.
How long do I need to exercise and make sure I am prepared each week?

When you join our personalised programs, you will be directed to fill out a pre-screen form. Included in this form are questions based around your lifestyle. You can choose the length of time you would like to exercise, coupled with how many days per week. However, it is recommended that each exercise session goes for a minimum of 30–45 minutes for a minimum of 3 sessions per week. 

You will find the first 2–3 weeks will take you longer as you adjust to your new healthy lifestyle, although after that, the processes will be second nature and become part of your daily routine. 

I do not have access to a Gym.
Can I do my exercise at home, and what do I need?

Yes of course! Vanessa also trains at home & has never attended a gym unless she is away! We will tailor your program to what you have access to. However, it is recommended that as you progress with your training, if you continue to exercise from home it will be well worth it to invest in a dumbbell set and some resistance bands. 

I am unsure if a personalised program will be right for me.
Is there someone I can talk to further prior to committing?

Yes! When you click on the program options, there is a link to request a consultation, or you can simply just click HERE.

What happens if I start the personalised program and then cannot continue?

Please refer to the Refund Policy page for further information.

We are all human, and sometimes things happen in life that are beyond our control. In the event of proven extenuating circumstances, we will of course extend or pause your program until you are fit to continue. The payment contract will continue & you will be credited back the weeks once you return. 

I have a medical condition, or I am pregnant.
Can I complete a personalised program?

In regard to medical conditions that are outside our scope of practice, we will need clearance from your health care professional in writing prior to commencing.

If you are pregnant, it is not recommended to start a new personalised program. If you are new to the fitness world or looking to get back into your previous fitness journey, we would of course love to help you after your special one arrives. 

Can I transfer my personalised program to someone else if I cannot complete it?

Unfortunately, this is not an option as each program is personalised towards your goals and needs. A lot of background work and investment goes towards customising each section of your program. For further information, please refer to the TERMS OF SERVICE page.


Exercise subscription FAQs

Is the exercise subscription and one-off plans personalised to my goals?

The exercise subscription is not personalised, although through DVP Fitness' expertise it has been created to challenge you and with the intention of introducing you to living a healthier lifestyle. If you are seeking a further challenge and would like a more personalised program based on your goals, both fitness and nutritional, you may want to look at the personalised program options that are available. I am not experienced and would consider myself a beginner.
Would I be able to understand the exercise subscription?

Yes absolutely. At DVP FITNESS we like to keep things simple & accessible for all fitness levels. There are a few different options available for beginners as you can select your fitness level/experience & either a gym or home-based option. Each program also comes with video demonstrations for each exercise.  

Do I need access to a gym?

Not at all. There are two options available- At Home or Gym along with two fitness levels – beginner or intermediate to advanced. 

What equipment do I need?

You will need to purchase resistance bands if you do not have any & if you are not attending a gym and training at home, you will need to purchase a dumbbell set. There are heaps of affordable options at Kmart & Big W.  

Do I have to send updates/check ins when I subscribe to the exercise subscription?

No, as this is a non-coaching option. The great thing about subscribing is that you can start whenever you want and within your own time. 

I have a medical condition. Can I complete the exercise subscription?

It is always best to consult your healthcare professional prior to starting a new fitness venture.
