I don't know about you, but I love the holidays. All that festive cheer, time off work, AMAZING food, catching up with family & friends, and sleep-ins are so bloody good.

But the holidays can be fraught with anxiety and danger. All that delicious food can seriously derail your good nutritional habits that you spent so long building if you fail to get back on track!

TIP 1: LEAVE THE HOLIDAY HABITS WITH THE HOLIDAYS!

You had an amazing time, got to relax, ate more food you wouldn't normally eat, but now it's time to get back on track. Just because you may of consumed more soul foods ten usual that doesn't mean it needs to become your new normal. So thank the holidays for the fun & memories they brought you and leave those holiday ways there.

TIP 2: SCRAP THE CRAP

Is your fridge bursting at the seams with leftover holiday food? Now is the time to part with it. Those little treats will call your name loudly if you leave them where you see them. Say goodbye to the food and fill your fridge with wholesome staples.

TIP 3: MEAL PREP

Meal prep as it is the quickest way for to get back on track. Most people make the excuse that they don’t have time to meal prep or don’t know what to meal prep. Prepping does not need to take hours (I personally hate spending more then an hour prepping each week in the kitchen). You will find just like I do that prepping actually saves you more time during the week as everything is set to go. (Check out two minimal meal prep plans that you can follow below)
