THE PERFECT SNACK TO CURE THAT 3PM HUNGER HIT!


Do you ever get to around that 3pm mark and feel super peckish? Unsure how to cure the sudden spike of hunger without exceeding your nutrition targets?

We hear this all the time! Here are our top three tips on how to combat this:

TIP ONE: Opt for a snack that is high in protein. Protein is the most satiating macronutrient, meaning it is going to keep you full for longer! This will hold you over until dinner.

TIP TWO: Drink your water! Dehydration can be mistaken as hunger. Fill up a glass of water, drink this and see in about 20 minutes time if you are still hungry.

TIP THREE: If you know you always get peckish at this time, save one of your snacks for this time of day. For example - if you usually have a banana mid morning, push this back to 3pm. That way, you are listening to your body’s hunger cues.
